Volunteer
Webmaster
- Think this site can use an update? Be more informative? Interactive? We need a knowledgeable site builder to volunteer some time and skills to keep this site as useful as possible.
Typist
- Do you enjoy the keyboard? Much of the research and correspondence is originating from capable but restricted inmates. Help is needed to transcribe handwritten documents to a typed format for online publishing and distribution.
Medical Professionals
- A big aim of G.A.V.E. is to make changes which allow healthy condemned inmates the opportunity to save lives. States are switching to a one-drug lethal injection protocol which makes this feasible. But we need input from anesthesiologists, hospitals, and other experts to advise on technical procedures for proposals to prison directors.
Examine our research and offer expertise.
Information Gathering
- Enjoy mining for information? We are always in need of research assistance. Currently, we're looking into each state's organ donation statutes as well as each state's prison regulations regarding inmate donation.
Recipients
Are You Currently In Need of an Organ?
- Willing inmates are eager to make a difference now. But due to bias against inmate donors, traditional donor registries are not willing to list inmates. If you are in need of an organ and are willing to explore the option of inmate donors, please let us know.
Inmate Donors
Do you know of an inmate who would like to be an organ donor?
- Register at G.A.V.E.'s Prison Organ Donor Registry!
- G.A.V.E. works to match willing prisoner donors with potential recipients in need. The more information you can provide will better enable us to find those matches.
